Georgia’s ruling party – Georgian Dream in collaboration attempted last week to pass the “foreign agents” bill sparking massive waves of protests in Tbilisi. Although the Georgian Dream eventually decided to withdraw the controversial bill after two days of violent protests, it has left opponents, and Western leaders concerned that more can be expected, leaving the country increasingly vulnerable to the Kremlin’s efforts to sabotage Georgia’s integration efforts into the EU and NATO.
